Today I am going to show you how to make a Healthy Breakfast - Vegan Oatmeal and Berry Smoothie
Oatmeal is definitely one of my favorite breakfast. So healthy and delicious! It is whole grain, easy to cook, unlimited options of toppings and affordable.
I have been experimenting different kind of smoothies for a long time but this berry smoothie is absolutely my favorite. Packed with antioxidant, refreshing, nutritious and flavorful.

This recipe serves for 2 people
1 cups Oatmeal ( Old fashion is my preferred type but you could use quick oats. NO INSTANT! )
1/4 cup Raison or dried cranberries ( or any other dried fruit of your choice )
a pinch of sea salt
1 tablespoon almond butter ( my recipe >> https://www.miwakaur.com/recipes/almond-butter-no-oil )
2 cups water
1 cup Frozen mixed berries
1 cup Frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon Miwa's Superfood Seeds Mix ( see below )
1 teaspoon Amalaki powder
1 tablespoon Elderberry syrup https://www.miwakaur.com/recipes/elderberry-syrup
1/4 cup almonds ( soaked in water overnight which is optional but recommended )
SUPERFOOD SEEDS MIX
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup flaxseeds
1/2 cup hemp seeds
NUTS AND SEEDS MIX
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup dried and unsweetened shredded coconut
1/4 cup cacao nib
Boil water and add pinch of salt
Add oatmeal and cook for 5 min with medium low heat
Remove from heat, cover and set aside for 10 minutes
Garnish with fruits of your choice. Sprinkle nuts and seeds mix
Combine almonds, blueberries, mixed berries, banana, superfood seeds mix and amalaki into a blender jar.
Add water until it reaches 4cups
Blend and enjoy it!
